Double glazed timber doors with a 1.2 U-value

Our double glazed timber windows and doors exceed the new Part L 2023 building regulations and can achieve impressive U-values starting from 1.2 W/m²K – which is 15% better than the guidelines.

Whereas our triple glazed windows and doors achieve U-values starting from 0.8W/m²K which is 43% better than what’s stipulated in the regulations.

How do I get a quotation for timber doors?

Can you match the design of my existing door?

Yes, we can. If you see a particular door design that you like or if you’d like to replace your current door and want to keep the same design, simply send an image through alongside your enquiry and we’ll do the rest. How do I know what style of door will suit my house?

We offer a wide range of custom options to suit all types of properties. Take a look at some of our case studies, as well as our Instagram and Pinterest pages for inspiration. Is a wooden front door better than a uPVC front door?

At Bereco we believe that windows and doors should only be made from natural, renewable, healthy materials. Additionally, timber doors are manufactured from solid sections using traditional construction methods, which is not available with other materials.

Are your timber door locks insurance approved?

Yes. Our espagnolette locks supplied by Fuhr and Winkhaus are PAS24:2016 Secured by Design certified. Our cylinder locks are supplied by ERA from their Fortress range and are certified to TS007. They are three-star rated Sold Secure Dimond, Neighbourhood Watch and Secured by Design Approved.

Samples of all of our products are available to view at our South Yorkshire showroom, if you’re a homeowner working on your own property then you can book a showroom design consultation. How long will my timber doors last?

Timber doors have a life span of up to 60 years, while your average UPVC windows would probably last less than 20 years. When maintained properly your wooden door can efficiently withstand wear and tear (weathering) and last for a lifetime.
